Dome9 is looking for an ambitious, hands-on Sr. Technical Marketer / Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) to join its growing Bay-area team. A hot young company in one of the fastest growing markets, Dome9 automates cloud security management across all servers and clouds.
The Sr. Technical Marketer will lead content development and customer engagement, globally, in support of marketing and customer programs. S/he will create rich and compelling content, including video demos, white papers, presentations, and articles, and work closely with the Online Cloud Marketer in support of online and event-based marketing activities. The technical marketer will also support customer and partner engagements, including on boarding and troubleshooting, and provide customer feedback to R&D on product enhancements and roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
– Create rich and compelling content, including issue-based materials across multiple formats such as white papers, articles, presentations, and video
– Support marketing programs and communications on messaging and promotions, advertising, emails, webcasts, and events
– Lead customer and partner engagements ranging from light product demos and training to technical advice on complex infrastructure and advanced troubleshooting
– Provide customer feedback to R&D on service enhancements
Key Requirements:
– 4-7 years technical experience in technical marketing, product management, training, and/or sales engineering
– Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with cloud computing, security, networking, and virtualization technologies
– Experience with SaaS selling B2B through Web channels
– Excellent technical writing skills – head and shoulders above the rest!
